What is there to say about St Just other than that having lived there for many years I can say it is the community with real heart, where you feel you can talk to anybody and people care about you. Community spirit is key, with the village hall and big occassions such as Lafrowda Day where the streets are filled with processions of art, accompanied by stalls, bands and people enjoying themselves.
The rustic houses that were the original Miners' cottages for the families that worked at Geevor Tin Mine, Pendeen, which is now a protected site and set in the rugged and luxurious coastline that is a five minute drive from your home in this village.
With all the amenities and routes to the A30, Penzance is 10-15 minutes away, with Lands End and Porthcurno being the same in the other direction.
The pace of life is relaxed, friendly and one of the last few mining villages left in Cornwall. Go and enjoy the sunsets, have bar-b-ques on the beaches, walk the great coastline, then retire in front of a warm cosy fire in the inn.......
